What have you been up to during the quarantine? Chances are you have immersed yourself in some sort of art, whether it be that new show you're streaming, or music that enlivens your soul, or books with worlds that you can endlessly explore, or something and everything in between. Indeed, art is the lifeblood that flows through us, nourishing us with hope and inspiration even in our darkest moments. During these times of self-isolation, we find solace, community, and even stronger connection, all through the magic of art. Weekly Wednesday LUNCHSTREAMS Live! Last week was beautiful! It's fascinating to see how artists across all genres are adapting to new, digital-based mediums and video streaming platforms, making them more accessible than ever before. Ever think you would be able to see DJ Premier battle RZA in real time? Check it! How about creating a music video in quarantine? After they had to cancel their music video shoot, Oakland-based band Thao got creative with Zoom. After all, "this is the tool that [they] had to use in order to make a video during this mania," as Thao said.  We'd say their new single "Phenom" turned out pretty phenomenal!
