Role Overview

The Great Company is looking for a self-starter Associate Event Producer for our Experiential Design and Event Production Services business. This is a project-based role with the possibility of converting to full time.

Established in 2007, The Great Company's mission is to be the global leader in creating meaningful shared experiences. As a part of our journey, our service business focuses on immersive design and production with a focus to enlighten the audience's experience through multi-sensory engagement. 

We are a group of multi-disciplinary producers that partner with Film/TV studios, sports brands, and cultural institutions to expand their brand messaging through the impact of live-attractions.

Expectations

We are looking for individuals with a passion for immersive and experiential events, all facets of event production, and who have an understanding of the latest trends in event marketing and brand storytelling. You should have a keen awareness of the responsibilities and factors involved in event production and previous experience is highly preferred. This position will be a flexible combination of in-office hours, remote work, and on-location work. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage event timelines and budgets

  • Manage and design event logistics

  • Perform research and development of partners and vendors

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with many moving pieces such as vendors, staff, and clients

  • Execute on-site for load in, setup, and load out needs

  • Manage event staffing and appropriate briefings with vendors 

  • Update and maintain all relevant event production documentation

  • Provide executive support and assistance to Director of Production

Qualifications

  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent attention to detail 

  • Excellent knowledge of iWork and MS Office

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to create and deliver one-sheets and presentations according to team needs

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

  • Passionate and excited about start up culture

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
